Minutes

February, 8, 2009

Present at the meeting:  Ed Fechtel, Mary Mellein, Ellen Jackson, Hank Wright, George Gazda, Terry Trotaschaud, Tim Janke, Ben Williams, Berti Lopez, Monica Mueller Kucher, David Gomez, Fr. Juan Carlos, and Fr. David McGuinness.

Members absent: Donavan Yarnell,

2. Approval of Minutes –

3. Nursery Report –
1. Berti suggests 10, 11:45, and 1 are the only masses that have enough interest in a nursery
2. Berti will move forward with plans to establish a small nursery in the basement.

4. Parish Council Election Plans
1. Discussion of Ballot and Election process to replace Hank, Terry, Monica and Chuck
2. Members will signup for a time to recruit new nominations to the council

5. Meeting of the Conference of Parish Organizations
1. Next meeting will be March 21^st
2. Meet monthly for the next three months

6. Mission
1. Encourage participation in the Mission – Ministry Appreciation Day

7. Think Tank Report on Parish Finances
1. The committee has not met  recently

8. Property Management Committee
1. Two trees to be removed
2. Parking - investigate possible solutions to the problem f
3. Letters from the front wall – there are plans to replace the signage

9. Hospitality Committee
1. No report

10. Father McGuiness
1. Negotiations are on going with the archdiocese

11. Adjourn with Prayer
